Here’s everything you might want to know about booking live entertainment through UTC — from how it works to what to expect on the day.
How do I make a booking?
Once you’ve chosen the act you’re interested in, simply fill in our online enquiry form or send us a brief email detailing your date, venue and desired entertainment style. We'll return a personalised quote within 48 hours and, if you’re happy to proceed, we’ll send a contract for signature and a deposit to secure your date.
What payment methods do you accept and when is the balance due?
Once you’ve chosen the act you’re interested in, simply fill in our online enquiry form or send us a brief email detailing your date, venue and desired entertainment style. We'll return a personalised quote within 48 hours and, if you’re happy to proceed, we’ll send a contract for signature and a 30% deposit to secure your date.
Can we choose the songs or request something special?
Absolutely. We encourage you to share details like your first dance song, must‑play tracks and any particular style or vibe you’re after. We’ll work with the band/DJ to incorporate your preferences and ensure the music fits your crowd — while also delivering a setlist that keeps the dance floor full.
What happens if the act is unable to perform on the day?
We use legally binding contracts that protect you and the performers. In the unlikely event the act cannot perform due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll secure a suitable replacement of the same calibre (at no extra cost) or refund your fee if no replacement can be found.
What do the acts bring and what do we need to provide?
Your act will arrive fully self‑contained with high‑quality PA, lighting and staging (unless otherwise specified). We simply ask you to provide access to power and a secure space for setup. Our terms require inclusion of a hot meal and soft drinks for the performers.
How much space and time will setup require?
The space required varies by line‑up size; for example a 5‑piece band typically needs approximately 5 × 3 metres. Setup and sound check usually take 90-120 minutes. If your venue has a sound limiter, please inform us early so we can ensure the act can work within any restrictions.
